| Description | This unit of competency covers the competency to inspect, maintain and test a range of equipment according to organisation's procedures. This unit applies to workers who have either a primary role in the maintenance of equipment or are required to test and maintain equipment as part of an operational role. |

| Duration | The course will be conducted over 4 hours |

| Entry Requirements | Prerequisite unit: Language, literacy and numeracy requirements from the unit are: |

| Assessment Requirements | The course will be based on theoretical sessions, equipment demonstrations and practical exercises. |
||
| Delivery Mode | Face to face and practical hands-on training conducted by an experienced Emergency Services instructor with strong knowledge of relevant legislation and Australian Standards. |

| Materials or Equipment Required | Students must wear long pants, long sleeve shirts and steel cap boots. |
||
| Notes | If you are a new or continuing student undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment for this unit. |
