| Description | The purpose of this course is to provide participants with the necessary skills and practical knowledge on how to prepare and respond to a rescue situation, contribute to a risk assessment at the rescue scene, perform the rescue and conclude rescue operations |

| Qualification Requirements | Each successful participant will be issued a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for: |

| Assessment Requirements | The course will be based on theoretical sessions, equipment demonstrations and practical exercises. |
||||||
| Delivery Mode | Face to face and practical hands-on training conducted by an experienced Emergency Services instructor with strong knowledge of relevant legislation and Australian Standards. |
||||||
| Materials or Equipment Required | Students must wear long pants, long sleeve shirts and steel cap boots. |
||||||
| Notes | If you are a new or continuing student undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment for this unit. |
