| Description | A licence is required in Western Australia for the removal of materials that contain asbestos. A Restricted Asbestos Removal Licence allows people to remove amounts exceeding 10 square metres of bonded (non-friable) asbestos. |

| Qualification Requirements | Candidates will be awarded with a Statement of Completion which is required to apply for the licence. Applicants for a Restricted Asbestos Licence will be required to submit to WorkSafe a written application form for a Restricted Asbestos Licence, pay an application fee; and provide evidence of ability to remove asbestos in a safe and proper manner (completion of this course). |

| Assessment Requirements | The course will be based on theoretical sessions, equipment demonstrations and practical exercises. |

| Delivery Mode | Face to face and practical hands-on training conducted by an experienced instructor with strong knowledge of relevant legislation and Australian Standards. |

| Notes | If you are a new or continuing student undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment for this unit. |
