| Description | This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to provide advanced First Aid resuscitation techniques, life support, and management of casualty(s) until the arrival of medical or other assistance, and provision of support to other providers in an emergency situation. |

| Duration | 2 days (2x 8hr periods, plus pre-reading & exercises) |
||||||||
| Entry Requirements | Prior knowledge/competence in basic CPR and first aid at the discretion of the trainer/booking staff. |
||||||||
| Assessment Requirements | The course will be based on theoretical sessions, equipment demonstrations and practical exercises. |
||||||||
| Delivery Mode | Face to face and practical hands-on training conducted by an experienced Emergency Services instructor with strong knowledge of relevant legislation and Australian Standards. |

| Materials or Equipment Required | Students must wear enclosed shoes. |
||||||||
| Notes | If you are a new or continuing student undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment for this unit. |
